Join us for Catalysts - a brand-new Portland platform commissioning four local choreographers to create original works on the company through a concentrated, high-intensity creative process.
In this single-night, candlelit performance at New Expressive Works, Portland artists Makino Hayashi and Jordan Kriston join push/FOLD’s Alana Rae and Marina Vianello for an intimate evening of premieres. Together, they embrace experimentation, risk, and the immediacy of the moment.
Inspired by the urgency of creation itself, each choreographer is challenged to craft an original work with the company in just 12 hours of rehearsal — an exploration of instinct, intuition, and trust.
Performances-length: ~60 minutes without an intermission.
