push/FOLD and the Portland Symphonic Choir rejoin forces in our ground-breaking interdisciplinary collaboration, Vespers! Set to Rachmaninoff's monumental All-Night Vigil with breathtaking choreography by Samuel Hobbs, this performance features the 90-member Portland Symphonic Choir in a stunning fusion of virtuosic dance and choral brilliance.

push/FOLD's Union PDX - Festival of Contemporary Dance returns for our sixth iteration this May 2026 at the brand-new Foster Theater!

This year, Festival:26 shares two world premiere works and three Portland premieres by local, and national contemporary artists in the genres of Kathak, Danza Azteca, and Contemporary dance styles:

Join push/FOLD for our first performance in Bend as we premiere our new choreographic and musical work by Artistic Director Samuel Hobbs, commissioned by Oregon Origins!

Inspired by the geologic history of Newberry Volcano, this original creation blends movement and sound to explore the powerful forces shaping Oregon's landscape, as part of the Oregon Origins Project: Echoes of Eruption.

push/FOLD seeks one to two (1-2) professional-level dancers, ages 22 and older, for upcoming paid contracts.

Join us at the incredible New York City Center in New York City, NY and in Portland, OR at the beautiful Classical Ballet Academy this January! These workshop-style auditions are open to all advanced to professional-level movers from any dance genre or tradition.
